What is Daily New Game?
Daily New Game is a free website with 9 cosy daily puzzle games: word puzzles, number puzzles and logic puzzles, each hosted by an animal character. It runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer, at dailynewgame.com.
The games are Sletters, Puppy Nap, Frogspell, Hop & Drop, Sudoku, Treasure island, Giraffe skyline, Fireflies and Hide and seek. Sunny the sun hosts the whole series.
Is Daily New Game free?
Yes. Every daily puzzle is free, and so are 10 new levels per game every day. There are no ads. An optional Plus membership adds unlimited levels and more, but free play stays free. See free play.
Do I need to download anything or make an account?
No. The games run in your web browser and your progress is saved in that browser. An account is optional: sign in with your email and a code if you want your progress on more than one device. See progress and accounts.
When is there a new daily puzzle?
A new daily puzzle for every game arrives at midnight where you are. The dailies get harder from Monday to Saturday, and Sunday is a relaxed one. See daily puzzles.
Which game should I start with?
Start with the kind of puzzle you already like. For words, try Sletters or Frogspell. For numbers, Sudoku. For a gentle logic puzzle, Puppy Nap or Fireflies. Every game opens with a short animated how to play.
How do streaks work?
Your streak counts the days in a row on which you won at least one daily puzzle. A daily you finish the next morning still counts. See streaks.
How do I unlock harder levels?
Win levels. Each game has five difficulties, Easy to Master, and winning 20 Easy levels opens Medium, 40 Medium wins open Hard, and so on. Plus opens every difficulty from day one. See levels and difficulty.
What does Plus cost?
Plus costs 2.99 € a month or 24.99 € a year, and the first 500 founders can pay 49 € once. Prices include VAT. See Plus.
Can kids play?
Yes. The games have no ads, no chat and no tracking cookies, and the word puzzles plant only family-friendly words. See privacy and families.
