Progress and accounts
In short. Your stars, streaks and outfits are saved in the browser you play in, with no account needed. If you want them on more than one device, sign in for free with your email and a 6-digit code: no password. You can also move progress with a one-time code, export a copy, or delete your account and its data at any time.
Where is my progress saved?
Your progress is saved in the browser you play in, on your device. If you sign in, it is also saved to your account, so it is safe if the browser forgets it.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything free works without an account. An account is free and useful if you play on several devices, or if you want your streaks and outfits kept safe.
How do I sign in?
Open the menu, choose Sign in and type your email. We'll email you a 6-digit code that works for 10 minutes. There is no password to remember.
Can I play on my phone and my computer?
Yes. Sign in with the same email on both, and your stars, streaks and outfits stay in step. If a browser already has progress when you sign in, you choose whether to add it to your account.
Can I move my progress without an account?
Yes. In Settings, make a code under "Move progress with a code" and enter it in the other browser within 24 hours. Each code works once.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
If you are not signed in, clearing your browser data (cookies and site data) also clears your progress. Sign in first, or export a copy in Settings, if you want to keep it.
How do I back up my progress?
Open Settings and choose Export progress. Keep the copied text somewhere safe; Import progress brings it back in any browser.
How do I start again from scratch?
Open Settings and choose Reset all progress. Streaks, stars and outfits in this browser are gone for good, so export a copy first if you might want them back.
How do I download or delete my data?
Signed in, open Your account. "Download my data" gives you everything saved in your account, and "Delete my account" removes the account, its saved progress and its devices for good. A confirmation email follows.
How do I sign out?
Open Your account and choose Sign out, or "Sign out everywhere" to sign out every device at once. Your progress stays saved in your account.
