Privacy and families
In short. Daily New Game has no ads and no tracking. Your progress stays in your browser unless you sign in, and then only your email and your progress are kept in your account. Finished dailies are counted anonymously to see how hard each puzzle was. There is no chat and no contact with other players, and the word puzzles plant only family-friendly words.
Does Daily New Game track me?
No. There are no ads, no tracking cookies and no third-party scripts. Your progress is kept in your browser, not on our servers, unless you sign in.
What data is saved about me?
Without an account, nothing that identifies you is saved by us: your progress lives in your browser. With an account, we keep your email address, your progress, your signed-in devices and, if you have it, your Plus membership, so your games can follow you.
What are the anonymous daily results?
When you finish a daily puzzle, the game sends one anonymous result: which puzzle, whether it was won, the stars, the hints used and the time taken. It has no name, email or device ID, and helps us see how hard each puzzle was.
Is Daily New Game safe for kids?
Yes. There are no ads, no chat, no messages and no way to contact other players. Children should ask a grown-up before signing in or buying Plus, because both use an email address.
Will kids see rude words in the word games?
No rude word is ever planted in a puzzle. Rude words are filtered out of the dictionary, and the words used in levels, dailies and hints also pass a family-friendly list. Other real words you type yourself are still accepted, but only family-friendly ones are ever planted.
Who gets my payment details?
Only Stripe, the payment provider. Daily New Game never sees your card or bank details.
Where are the privacy policy and the legal details?
Daily New Game is run by Improvides Consulting GmbH, so its privacy policy, terms and Impressum are on landauai.com. Questions go to hello@dailynewgame.com.
How do I delete my data?
Signed in, open Your account and choose "Delete my account". Progress kept only in your browser can be removed in Settings with "Reset all progress". See progress and accounts.
