In short. Daily New Game has six classic logic puzzles, each with a new daily puzzle and 1,000 levels from Easy to Master: Star Battle, Nurikabe, Light Up, Skyscrapers, Battleships and sudoku. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, reached by deduction, never by guessing, and a free hint always explains the next step.

1. Puppy Nap: Star Battle logic puzzle
Star Battle with puppies: exactly one in every row, column and patch, never touching. The best starting point if you are new to logic puzzles.
2. Treasure island: Nurikabe logic puzzle (islands and sea)
Nurikabe, a favourite of puzzle fans: flood the sea so every island has the right size. The deepest logic in the series.
3. Fireflies: Light Up (Akari) logic puzzle
Light Up, also called Akari: place lights so every square is lit and no two lights see each other. Numbered stones tell you how many lights touch them.
4. Giraffe skyline: Skyscrapers number logic puzzle
Skyscrapers: each row and column holds every height once, and the clues on the edge say how many you can see. A number puzzle with a twist.
5. Hide and seek: Battleships logic puzzle
Battleships solitaire: row and column counts reveal where the fleet is hiding. Fast to learn, satisfying to finish.
6. Sudoku: Sudoku
The best known logic puzzle of all, from small 4 by 4 boards to the classic 9 by 9.

Do these logic puzzles ever need guessing?
No. Every puzzle has exactly one solution you can reach by deduction. The hardest ones ask you to think a few moves ahead: imagine a choice, follow it, and if a rule breaks, the other choice is right.
Which logic puzzle is easiest to start with?
Puppy Nap or Hide and seek. Both have short rules and small first boards, and every game opens with an animated how to play.
Which is the hardest?
Treasure island is the deepest: its Expert and Master maps need what-if thinking. Saturday dailies in every game are the toughest of the week.
How many logic puzzles are there?
Each of the six games has 1,000 levels in five difficulties, so 6,000 logic puzzles, plus a new daily puzzle in each game every day.
Are these the same puzzles as in puzzle books?
They follow the same classic rules, with a cosy theme on top: puppies for stars, fireflies for lights, giraffes for skyscrapers. Each guide explains the classic version, for example Nurikabe or Star Battle.
Are they free?
