Free daily word games
In short. Daily New Game has three free word games, each with a new daily puzzle and 1,000 levels. Sletters is a calm grid puzzle, Frogspell a quick hop across letter pads, and Hop & Drop an arcade race against a filling burrow. British and American spellings both count, and the puzzles only ever plant family-friendly words.

1. Sletters: Word puzzle: trace words through a letter grid
Trace words through neighbouring letters until the whole grid is eaten, in as few words as you can. The thinking word game.
2. Frogspell: Word puzzle: hop a frog across letter pads
Hop Hopper the frog from letter to letter to spell words, on a budget of flies. Quick rounds that fit a coffee break.
3. Hop & Drop: Arcade word game with rising letters
Letters fill the burrow from the floor up. Spell words to clear them, go long to hold the next row back, and chase a high score.

Questions
Which words count?
Real English words of three letters or more, from a large open word list. Plurals and other word forms count, and British and American spellings both work. Names and abbreviations do not.
Is there a daily word puzzle?
Yes. Each of the three word games has a new daily puzzle at midnight, local time, the same for everyone, so you can compare results with friends.
Are the word games OK for kids?
Yes. Rude words are filtered out, and every word the game plants in a puzzle or suggests as a hint is family-friendly. See privacy and families.
What if I get stuck?
Use a hint. Hints are free and unlimited and point you towards the solution; they only lower the most stars you can earn.
Which word game is quickest?
Frogspell: its ponds are small, so a round is short. Sletters takes more thought, and Hop & Drop is a race to reach its target before the burrow fills.
Are they free?
Yes. Every daily puzzle and 10 new levels per game each day are free, with no ads and no sign-up.
